Upper Deck followed up their inaugural Be A Player (BAP) autograph release with an even larger a 225 card set. Autographs were seeded 1:1 pack, with parallel die-cut autographs seeded 1:7 packs. The autograph card faces match the non-autographed base set cards, while the card backs feature a certificate of authenticity. According to the 2012 Beckett Hockey Card Price Guide (21st Edition)
, documents suggest players signed 3000 regular and 400 die-cut autograph cards each. The Wayne Gretzky autograph card (number 97) was initially reported at 802 regular and 99 die-cut versions, but Upper Deck later announced the actual numbers as 648 regular and 234 die-cut. The Mike Richter card (number 191) was not inserted into packs, but was available via a mail-in offer. SET STATUS: PIECEMEAL (34.2 Percent Complete with 77 of 225 Cards).
I'm not actively building this set, so the cards on display here are original pulls from the time of purchase and add-ons that were included to round out hockey trades.
