As an Edmonton Oilers fan and a dedicated autographed hockey card collector, this December 2014 offering was manna from heaven. Alas, with its initial release restricted only to Canada, it was a few months before I was able to crack open some boxes of my own although I pursued my most-wanted autographs from eBay in the interim. The Franchise Ink autographs had 7 levels of rarity, with the common Group G autographs distributed 1:6 packs and the two ultra-rare Group A autographs (Paul Coffey and Mark Messier) distributed 1:3,041 packs. With just 10 packs per box, those are some pretty long odds for that pair of Hockey Hall of Famers, and it's highly unlikely this side of winning the lottery that I'll ever complete this set. First autographs added to my collection from this product include Marc-Andre Bergeron, Jason Chimera, Darcy Hordichuk, Mark Lamb, Dave Lumley, Kevin McClelland, and Justin Schultz.
