This page covers the Silver and Bronze Ages for The Justice League of America, which is generally considered to run from the team's first appearance in The Brave and the Bold issue #28 (February-March 1960) through the end of the Justice League of America (1960 series) issue #261 (April 1987).

After a three-issue audition in The Brave and the Bold (1955 series) issues #28-30 in early-1960, the Justice League of America graduated to his own series in late-1960. The 261 issue run spanned cover dates October-November 1960 through April 1987, when it was cancelled in the aftermath of Crisis on Infinite Earths. The series was rebooted a few months later as Justice League, which can be found via the Dark Age and Beyond link above.

The Justice League of America (1960 series) series has been significantly republished in hardcover. Originally, ten volumes of DC Archives collected the series sequentially through issue #93. More recently, five omnibuses -- two Silver Age and three Bronze Age -- have almost doubled that total, collecting the JLA in hardcover sequentially through issue #182. In softcover, to date the Justice League of America (1960 series) has only been collected sequentially through issue #41, but progress has been made on later periods and various curated collections include a number of issues that have yet to be reprinted in hardcover.
