PUBLISHING OVERVIEW

Long-running characters like Green Arrow have been separated into multiple pages by comic ages so the individual character pages do not become overly cluttered. You can access the various ages via the links found in the masthead above.

This page covers the Golden Age for Green Arrow, which is generally considered to run from 1941 through the mid-1950s. Green Arrow was introduced as a regular feature in More Fun Comics issue #73 (November 1941) and continued appearing in that title through issue #107 (January-February 1946). Shortly after his debut, the Green Arrow also became a regular feature in World's Finest Comics issue #7 (Autumn 1942) onward. When More Fun Comics changed its format to an all-humor comic, the Green Arrow feature migrated to Adventure Comics issue #103 (April 1946).

Additionally, during this era Green Arrow and Speedy were members of the Seven Soldiers of Victory, and appeared in Leading Comics. That group and title have their own dedicated pages.
